The book will feature an update to the famous Iron Maiden Companion book, updating new releases 2000 onward and filling in some old items. This invaluable source of information for Iron Maiden fans, collectors, and professionals is based on Marco Gamba & Nicola Visintini's 20 years of research, collector’s madness and experience. It will feature 100 full colour pages packed with information and images of the new Maiden grails and perfectly follows the lines of the previous volume. Iron Maiden Companion – Update 1 is intended for the fans that already belong Iron Maiden Companion, so in case you do not have the first one, please get both and start enjoying the saga. Nicola Visintini recently said: “It was a long time people was asking for an update to Companion and we finally had time to meet up and did it again. These update will be the first of some books that will update various sections of the big one and time by time we add new chapters with more Maiden related items, as tour posters or tribute bands”. Marco Gamba added: “It is always very hard to find out what readers are expecting but with this product we can satisfy those ones were asking for a compromise among quality, information and price. This meant we had to reduce a number of expenses and it resulted in a strictly limited edition book. It will be sold via our website www.ironmaidenbooks.com and very very few other sources in Europe. We hope that all the die-hard Iron Maiden fans will find time to get a copy before it is sold out”. Release date for the book is November 29th, 2004 and the first pre-orders will be graced with a special limited edition photo-book featuring exclusive colour shots by Henry Ruggeri and Corrado Breno.
